No other issues with any other games that store the save files in the documents folder, no issues with the game at all below level 29. There's no error, just a straight up crash to desktop. I tried again without the console command just leveling up by killing enemies in the area then trying again, and it crashed. Again, same console command, game crashed when loading 35 Court. Reloading the same game and then using a console command to make myself level 29 causes the game to crash while saving or fast traveling.Īt level 28 I entered 35 Court and killed the sentry bot and assaultron, got the power armor and jumped off of the building. Here's how I tested it:Īt level 28 I'm able to successfully save my game and fast travel to Diamond City. I've attempted console commands to force myself past level 29, still does it. I've attempted every fix for any issue even remotely related to this and it still keeps happening. I thought it was because my documents folder was read-only but New Vegas has no issues and I can both read and write to my documents folder so it's apparently not actually read-only. I have no mods, it is a clean install of both Windows and Fallout (just built a new computer yesterday) and I've attempted to use Google but can't find anyone else with this kind of an issue. It'll crash if I fast travel, save, attempt to load a new area, look at Prydwen (yes I just have to look at it and the game crashes), or if I dismiss my follower. When I level up to level 29 the game continuously crashes any time I do anything. At level 28, the game works fine and runs as it normally should. Okay so I'm having a weird issue with Fallout 4. Fix: Severe performance issues with DirectX.Not sure if this is the right place for this but it's the only place I could find.Companions will always fast travel with you, unless told to wait or sent away.
Companions now show up as waypoints on the map.The "comprehensive" console patch will be coming soon but there's no date on that yet. Some of these changes will no doubt appear in the Xbox 360/PS3 update. The patch fixes many bugs, including save file corruption and crashes.
